Our Mission

To bear witness to the good news that sinners are put right with God by faith alone in Christ alone.  We resist any corruption of this Gospel, and exist to serve and support fellow confessors who seek to do likewise. Looking only to the cross of Christ, we proclaim God's Word as Law and Gospel for the redemption of his people today. May God help us to the glory of His holy name. Amen.

"We are interested in cooperative ministry with all who uphold the authority of God's Word over all matters of faith and life, and who seek to engage in the mission of Christ in the world."  --CORE website

Institute of Lutheran Theology -- Augsburg Lutheran Churches has endorsed ILT as a seminary for training pastors for congregations of the ALC.
"The Institute of Lutheran Theology is an independent, pan-Lutheran theological project, holding that God in Jesus Christ brings sinners to repentance and new life. Committed both to Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions, and to deep dialogue with the contemporary intellectual horizon, the Institute works with supporting congregations to educate the next generation of faithful Lutheran preachers and teachers."
