In the conviction that God has called us through the Lordship of his Son Jesus Christ and the guidance of his Holy Spirit to confess the gospel in its purity, we give thanks to God for his continual faithfulness, and by adopting this charter, hereby

• subscribe to the Augsburg Statement of Faith and Statement of Purpose,

• join together to carry out our Mission and Goals,

• agree to be governed by the provisions for Chapters in the Augsburg Constitution.

• form this fellowship and association of individuals and apply to be recognized as a chapter of Augsburg Lutheran Churches,

Our Mission

The purpose of this chapter is to support our common mission to bear witness to the good news that sinners are put right with God by faith alone in Jesus Christ, to resist any corruption of this gospel, and to serve and support fellow congregations who seek to do likewise. Looking only to the cross of Christ, we proclaim God's Word as law and gospel for the redemption of his people today. May God help us to the glory of his holy name.

  Our Goals

1. Organize as a chapter of the Augsburg Lutheran Churches by recruiting new members, electing officers (Convener, Secretary, Treasurer) and applying for recognition.

2. Meet regularly for prayer, fellowship, education, information sharing, and service.
    
3. Elect representatives to vote at the Augsburg Convention.
